You try sleeping and resting but nothing seems to work. These rings are often caused by a lack of sleep but there may be various for these rings such as:
- Blood circulation
- Smoking or alcohol
- Age / Heredity
- Food

You can hide them with makeup, but as they say, “prevention is better than cure”, rather deal with the problem than the symptoms.
Here are some tips and remedies to get rid of these dark rings:

1 – Choose a suitable eye cream. Place it in the refrigerator and apply lightly to the eyes when cream is cool. Choose a cream with an active draining, e.g. vitamin K or horse chestnut.
2 – Moisturise the skin around the eyes, but only use a special eye cream. Cream with too much fat will create balls of fat under the eyelid, as the skin is thinner there.
3 - Apply chamomile infused cream to bags under the eyes.
4 - Make a coffee face mask (beat 2 egg whites until stiff and then add brandy. Apply concealer, avoiding the inside of the eye and allow it to stand for several minutes before rinsing).
5 - Apply a cortisone cream without anti haemorrhoids.
6 - Drink purifying herbal tea every day; this also helps your kidneys as you probably don’t drink enough water.
7 - Avoid foods that are too rich or too salty, follow a balanced diet, getting a good intake of vegetables and fibres.
8 - Cucumber masks yield good results, you can also alternate with.
9 - Soak two cotton swabs in rose water and apply to the eyes for a few minutes.
