Smokey eye make up

Smokey eyes in a few simple steps
How many times have we admired or envied the gorgeous eyes of actresses and models, that as if by magic seem bigger and deeper, thanks to a particular gradation and skilful trick of make up artists?

• For a touch of mystery add a thin line of eyeliner to the outer edge of the eye.

This make up trick is called smokey-eyes.
It is generally declined in shades of black or brown, and sometimes composed of mix of other colours. The shades vary depending on the situation – are you going to the office or an evening party.

How to get the smokey eye makeup

• First, prepare the eye with a concealer: the eyelids and under the eye.
• Use a pencil to draw the black upper and lower lash line, starting from the inside and taking care to keep inwards from the eyelashes. If you have small eyes, use the pencil to line from the centre to the outside of the eye.
• With a brush apply black or a dark eye shadow on the eyelid, fading as much as possible towards the eyelashes. Soften slightly even under the eye: the eye shadow should be lighter under the eye.
• Enhance the shadow by cleaning up any smudges or imperfections, making sure to keep the shades.
• You can add another shade by adding a touch of dark eye shadow of another colour.
• Finally apply the mascara

Additional advice:
• Keep your lips as natural as possible, avoiding dark or bright lipstick colours
• Opt for lighter shades during the day, in the evening you can experiment with darker colours
